Our Story
RightCareHome started when a family member needed care. We spent weeks researching — reading reviews, checking CQC reports, visiting homes. But we still felt uncertain about things we couldn't easily find: financial stability, long-term quality trends, whether the home would still be there in a year.
We realised that important information existed, but it was scattered across different sources — company accounts, inspection histories, staff reviews — and took considerable time to piece together.
So we built RightCareHome: to bring that analysis together in one place. The service we wished we'd had.
What we do
We analyse care homes using official regulatory data, company accounts, and other publicly available information. We look at things that are difficult to find through standard research: financial health, quality trends over time, and staff satisfaction indicators.
We're funded entirely by families who use our service, not by care homes. This means our analysis is independent.
Our aim is to help families feel more informed about one of the most important decisions they'll make.
